13th Annual John R. Blossman YMCA Humanitarian Award & Charity Banquet
Join us for a fun-filled and heartwarming evening as we celebrate our 2022 John R. Blossman YMCA Humanitarian Award winner, Ray Wesson, Jr. at Beau Rivage Casino and Resort on November 17, 2022. Cocktails begin at 5:30 PM, and the program begins at 6:30 PM. Bid on silent auction items and commemorate the event with our Selfie 360 station.
Ray is a native of Ocean Springs and has lived and worked across the Mississippi Gulf Coast for his entire life. For 30 years, he has been engaged in community service while mainly working behind the scenes in helping and serving others in nearly every Gulf Coast community. He exemplifies John R. Blossman’s legacy of putting his fellow man first. All who knew John felt his deep love for the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Much of his life was spent in service to organizations that positively impacted the lives of others, and Ray Wesson carries on that tradition of service.
Our YMCA, like John and Ray, is dedicated to serving children and families across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. In 2022, more families are struggling to make ends meet as gas and food prices continue to rise.
